摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine plant activation method capable of suppressing a capacity of a bypass valve provided in a bypass pipe connecting a standby boiler to a condenser, dispensing with a bypass pipe connecting a high-pressure turbine to the condenser for suppressing a temperature increase of the high-pressure turbine, and suppressing fuel consumption.SOLUTION: A steam turbine plant activation method includes: a first step; and a second step. In the first step, a reheat steam pressure of an active boiler is set to be equal to or lower than a reheat steam pressure required for steam turbines, a reheat steam pressure of a standby boiler is set to be equal to or higher than a reheat steam pressure required for the standby boiler, and the active boiler supplies steam to the steam turbines. In the second step, after the reheat steam pressure of the active boiler is increased to be generally equal to the reheat steam pressure of the standby boiler, the steam from the active boiler and the steam from the standby boiler are merged together and the resultant steam is supplied to the steam turbines.
