<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both improvement of power conversion efficiency and prevention of current harmonic of a discharge lamp lighting device that supplies power to a discharge lamp and lights the lamp.SOLUTION: A discharge lamp lighting device includes a discharge lamp lighting circuit and control means. The control means supplies a pulse signal for alternately opening and closing a pair of a first switch and a fourth switch and a pair of a second switch and a third switch to the pair of the first switch and the fourth switch on the basis of a circuit current flowing through a power conversion circuit and a voltage of an AC power supply. By the opening and closing operation, a current in which a high-frequency component is mixed with a low-frequency component of the AC power supply flows through the power conversion device.</p> |
