<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tollgate lane guide device and a tollgate lane guide method which prevent illegal passage due to traveling around on a toll road and are capable of reducing the risk that a bar is not opened at an exit tollgate of the toll road to cause a rear end collision, and are capable of guiding a vehicle to a lane in which the vehicle should travel.SOLUTION: When a vehicle approaches an exit tollgate of a toll road, it is determined whether an entrance tollgate of the vehicle and the exit tollgate are identical or not. If it is determined that they are identical, the vehicle is guided to a general lane at the exit tollgate though ETC was used at the entrance tollgate. If the distance which the vehicle traveled is longer than the shortest distance between the entrance tollgate and the exit tollgate by a prescribed distance or longer when the vehicle approaches the exit tollgate of the toll road, the vehicle is guided to the general lane at the exit tollgate though ETC was used at the entrance tollgate.</p> |
