<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate the soundness and a remaining life of each equipment in nuclear facilities.SOLUTION: According to an embodiment, a nuclear facilities soundness evaluation method includes: a testing step S01 conducting an environmental test while placing a monitoring test piece near a monitoring target member; a corrosion-hole-size estimating step S02 of examining a crevice corrosion test piece and a pitting corrosion test piece and estimating a size of a corrosion hole of the monitoring target member; a minimum-allowable-dimension calculating step S03 of estimating a strength of the monitoring target member and calculating a minimum allowable dimension; a development determining step S04 of measuring a crevice-corrosion re-passivation potential and determining whether a local corrosion develops; a soundness evaluating step S07 of calculating a structural strength tolerance; a corrosion-speed estimating step S08 of measuring a polarization curve of a sample electrode and estimating a corrosion speed of the monitoring target member when development is determined; and a remaining-life estimating step S09 of determining a remaining life of the monitoring target member using the corrosion speed.</p> |
