<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the lock means of folded parallel link mechanisms necessary for a work support device which can support a work at the highest support level by the two folded parallel link mechanisms which connect a work support table and a base table.SOLUTION: Lock means 34 is composed of: two pieces of lock plates 35, 36 which are continuously arranged at end parts of an intermediate spindle 26 of upper and lower link members 15, 16 of a second double-strand link 10; movable arms 37a, 37b which are pivoted by an intermediate spindle 21 of first double-strand links 9a, 9b; engagement parts 40 arranged at tips of the movable arms; and springs 41a, 41b which energize the movable arms. When the folded parallel link mechanisms are brought into work high-position support postures, the engagement parts 40 are engaged with recesses 35b 36b to be engaged which are formed at peripheral faces of the lock plates 35, 36 by energization forces of the springs.</p> |
