PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platform door device capable of avoiding pinching, by doors, even a thin object or an object that is not thick, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A platform door device 3A includes a pair of movable doors 4, 5 which can open/close in a first direction (arrow A1). Relative to a reference line SL along the first direction A1, a door tip portion 41 of one movable door 4 is arranged on a vehicle side and a door tip portion 51 of the other movable door 5 is arranged on the side opposite to a vehicle. A virtual plane P1 including a side surface 41a on the reference line SL side of the door tip portion 41 of one movable door 4 and a virtual lane P2 including a side surface 51a on the reference line SL side of the door tip portion 51 of the other movable door 5 are separated from each other along the direction across the first direction A1.
