PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate for stringed instrument capable of being produced efficiently, having high yield of the material, having small variation of density, having a shape in which thickness is varied partially, and having a salient-state curved shape on one side surface, excellent in shape stability, and forming a front plate or a rear plate having excellent acoustic characteristics.SOLUTION: A plate 1 for stringed instrument is formed of a laminate 11 in which plural veneers having uniform thickness are laminated via an adhesive without gaps, and at least one or more veneers among the plural veneers have a planar shape different from those of other veneers. The laminate 11 is curved in a salient state on one surface side, and there are a part where thickness is thin and a part where thickness is thick. |
