PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sensor cell which exhibits excellent measurement accuracy in repeated measurement.SOLUTION: An optical waveguide 100 is provided with a cladding layer 11 and a core layer 12 that is embedded in the cladding layer 11 so that at least a surface of the core layer 12 is exposed therefrom. The contact angle with water of a surface of the cladding layer, from said surface of the core layer being exposed, is 80° or more. An SPR sensor cell and a colorimetric sensor comprise the optical waveguide 100.
