摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a predetermined impact energy absorptivity to be obtained under various impact situations including off-set collision of fine lap.SOLUTION: Since an angle of inclination of an outer side wall 30 is larger than an angle of inclination of an inner side wall 31, a width dimension increases so as to spread to a vehicle outer side toward a bumper beam 14, and a fold bend deformation of the end of the bumper beam 14 is suppressed even on off-set collision of fine lap. Thus, also a lateral fall of the crash box 10 itself is suppressed, so that a cylindrical body 22 is collapsed in a bellows manner to suitably obtain an impact energy absorptivity. Since an angle of inclination of an inner side wall 31 is small to make an installation width on the larger on the bumper beam 14 side large, the possibility that the crash box 10 laterally falls to the vehicle outer side becomes small, and a predetermined impact energy absorptivity under various impact situations including off-set collision of fine lap is stably obtained by a suppression in lateral fall of the cylindrical body 22 under various impact situations.
