<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide steel for a metallic mold, which can satisfy each property of high hardness, little segregation, causing less deposition of pearlite and high corrosion resistance and which is used at a temperature of 500°C or less.SOLUTION: The steel for a metallic mold used at a temperature of 500°C or less on a surface of the metallic mold has a composition containing, by mass%, O.30<C<O.50, 1.OO<Si<2.00, 0.30<Mn<1.20, 6.50<Cr<9.50, 0.20<Mo<2.OO, O.50<V<O.90, 0.O03<N<O.200 and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities.</p> |
