The present invention relates to a landfill leachate treatment apparatus using aerobic granular sludges and a treatment method thereof. More specifically, the landfill leachate treatment method includes the steps of sequentially arranging aeration and anoxic tanks with respect to the properties of the landfill leachate with high nitrogen content and low BOD and injecting high-quality aerobic granular sludges into the tanks to treat the landfill leachate. By filling the aeration tank and anoxic tank with the high-quality aerobic granular sludges, the apparatus can stably treat the landfill leachate from the initial operation and solve the bulking and forming problems seen in a conventional water treatment apparatus using floating microorganisms and a method thereof. Also, the apparatus can separate solid and liquid substances from each other to enable an easy post-treatment process. |
