<p>The invention concerns a train for loading, transporting and unloading long welded rails, comprising a plurality of wagons (2) for storing and transporting the welded rails, movable on a track, and an engine (50) provided with two devices (27) for gripping rails that is movable on the train in the longitudinal direction of the wagons, in order to provide traction and to place the rails on said wagons. The train is characterised in that the movable engine (50) can be moved along a rail device (9) disposed on top of the platform (7) of the wagons (2). The invention can be used for loading, transporting and unloading long welded rails.</p> |
