The device has a main body comprising a base provided with contact studs. An LED board (8) and a card driver (7) are linked together and inserted into the body. A connector (11) connects the studs and an orifice (9) of the base. The connector is attached with a contact (14) when the card driver is inserted into the orifice. The base comprises another orifice (15). Another connector (16) connects the base with the card driver, and connects the base with the LED board when the card driver and the LED board are inserted into the orifices and arranged complementary with each other. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing an LED lighting device.
