The trolley (10) has a mattress (26) including an upper face (26a) and a lower face (26b), and a support (20) mounted on an upper frame (16). A retractable barrier includes a horizontal bar (32) that extends under the lower face of the mattress in a retracted position, and extends above the upper face of the mattress to prevent the fall of a patient in a deployed position of the barrier. The barrier presents a blocking position in which the horizontal bar extends in a plane located between the lower and upper faces of the mattress, to ensure maintenance of the mattress on the support. |
