<p>A machine for brewing a beverage, in particular the type of machine which may be known as a vacuum pot coffee maker or siphon coffee maker. The machine has a brew chamber (10) having a brew chamber upper end and a brew chamber lower end; a steam chamber (14) disposed below the brew chamber (10), the steam chamber (14) having a steam chamber upper end and a steam chamber lower end, the steam chamber lower end being in fluid communication with the brew chamber (10); and a filtering base (12) removably inserted into the brew chamber (10). The machine further has a boiler (2) having a steam outlet (45) in fluid communication with the steam chamber (14) and a heated water outlet (47) in fluid communication with the steam chamber (14). A common inlet (57) in fluid communication with the steam outlet (45), the heated water outlet (47), and a fresh water supply conduit (49), the common inlet (57) providing an inlet from the steam outlet (45), the heated water outlet (47), and the fresh water supply conduit (49) to the steam chamber.</p> |
