According to an embodiment of the present invention, an operation method of a memory system including multiple memory cells includes the steps of: switching the operation mode of a partial set of the memory cells operating in a first operation mode to a second operation mode; and executing a switch cancelation operation on the memory cells operating in the switched operation mode based on switch cancelation conditions, when the operation mode is changed. A normal cancelation operation is executed based on a first cancelation condition when the memory cells operates in the first operating mode. A normal cancelation operation is executed based on a second cancelation condition when the memory cells operates in the second operation mode. The switch cancelation condition is different from at least one of the first and second cancelation conditions. |
