<p>A robot system includes a robot having one or more drive shafts, a hand attached to the robot and configured to hold a container having an opening through which contents are put in and taken out of the container, and a controller for controlling operations of the robot and the hand. The controller is configured to perform an operation of moving the hand to a holding position to hold the container, an operation of moving the hand to a discharging position and tilting the container to discharge the contents through the opening, and an operation of moving the hand to a placing position to release the container held by the hand.
