The present invention relates to a magnetically levitated transportation apparatus comprising: one or more levitation magnets disposed on an upper portion of a chamber along a moving direction of a transport tray to supply a magnetic force for lifting the transport tray and effectively transporting a heavy object such as a large display panel; one or more first ferromagnetic cores installed on a side of the transport tray facing the levitation magnets to lift the transport tray by an attraction by a magnetic force of the levitation magnets; one or more fixed coils disposed on one or more inside surfaces of the chamber along the moving direction of the transport tray to supply a magnetic force for moving the transport tray horizontally; one or more propulsion modules installed on one or more surfaces of the transport tray along the moving direction of the transport tray to supply a horizontal propulsion power for moving the transport tray horizontally by an attraction or repulsion by a magnetic force from the fixed coils; and one or more guide modules installed along a direction in which the propulsion modules are installed to adjust a gap between the transport tray and the chamber by an attraction by a magnetic force of the fixed coils.
