<p>The present invention relates to a seismometer including micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) based accelerometer and, more specifically, relates to a seismometer including MEMS based accelerometer by which an accelerometer and a recorder are allowed to be included in one device to minimize a distortion of seismic waves such that an accurate seismic wave can be measured, and maintenance costs reduced by minimizing power consumption. In order to achieve the above purpose, the present invention comprises: an acceleration sensor to sense the seismic wave; an A/D converter to convert an analog signal of the acceleration sensor into a digital signal; a digital signal processor to process the digital signal converted in the A/D converter; a communication unit to transmit the seismic wave processed in the digital signal processor to a remote place; a storage to store the seismic wave processed in the digital signal processor, and a central processing device to control the acceleration sensor, the A/D converter, the digital signal processor, the communicating unit, and the storage.</p> |
