The invention relates to a pressure relief valve (24) for a hydraulic press tool (1), comprising a valve body (26), a fluid circulation channel (38), a needle (28) and a seat (30), the needle (28) being movable relative to the seat (30) between a closed position in which the needle (28) is in contact with the seat (30) in order to close the channel (38) and an open position in which the needle (28) is at a distance from the seat (30) in order to allow fluid to circulate in the channel (38), characterised in that the seat (30) is movable relative to the valve body (26) so that, as soon as fluid circulates in the channel (38), the fluid causes a movement of the seat (30) relative to the valve body (26) that tends to move the seat (30) away from the needle (28) and prevents the seat (30) from returning towards the needle (28), in order to maintain the circulation of fluid in the channel. |
