The invention provides an apparatus to quantitatively identify which of the types of golf clubs such as wood, utility, and iron a golfer uses most successfully. The fitting apparatus is provided to help the golfer choose an optimal golf club set from many types of golf clubs. This fitting apparatus consists of an data acquisition unit, a specification unit, and a decision unit. The data acquisition unit acquires measurement data of one or more swing of a golf club count per type of golf clubs. The specification unit specifies, based on the measurement data, the interrelation between the loft angle and the driving distance for each type of golf clubs. Based on the interrelation, the decision unit identifies a type of golf club which showed a long driving distance against the loft angle as the most successful type of golf club the golfer has used. |
