<p>The present invention relates to a voice recognition phone which has identical name selection and voice guide capabilities and a method thereof. More specifically, the voice recognition phone enables a user to choose between contacts with the same name when such contacts with identical names are present in a phone book. According to the present invention, the voice recognition phone includes: a DB unit which stores and manages a personal phone book (address book) of the user; a voice input unit which recognizes a voice of an outsider and converts the voice to text data; and a search unit which searches for a phone number stored in the DB unit based on the data acquired from the voice input unit and extracts multiple phone numbers when the phone numbers are stored under the same name to enable the user to choose between the phone numbers; and a UI unit which provides the search result and receives the selection result of the user.</p> |
