PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress deterioration in detection accuracy of a detection result of a radar system.SOLUTION: A radar system 1 comprises: a light source 2 emitting a laser beam; a one-dimensional scanner 3 scanning an irradiation beam as a laser beam emitted from the light source 2 along a scan direction; a light detection unit 5 formed by arraying a plurality of pixels 26 in two-dimensional matrix, the light detection unit 5 detecting reflectance of the laser beam emitted from the light source 2 for each of the plurality of pixels 26; and a processing unit 6 measuring a flight time from irradiation of the laser beam by the light source 2 to detection of reflectance by the pixels 26 of the light detection unit 5. The light source 2 emits a laser beam formed in a rectangular shape such that the length along a vertical direction to the scan direction is longer than the length along the scan direction. |
