PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical device with improved light extraction capability.SOLUTION: An optical device comprises: a light emitting element mounted on a support medium; and a transparent thermosetting resin hardened material integrated with the support medium by sealing the light emitting element with a transparent thermosetting resin composition. The optical device includes a fluorine-containing compound on a surface of the thermosetting resin hardened material.
