PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique that is advantageous for reducing an influence of noise generated by a power supply circuit.SOLUTION: An imaging element includes a semiconductor chip and a package that covers the semiconductor chip. The semiconductor chip includes: a pixel section that has a plurality of pixels; a memory; a reading section that writes a signal corresponding to a signal, which is obtained from the pixel section, in the memory; an output section that an image signal corresponding to the signal written to the memory; a control section that outputs a control signal to an output pin of the package through an output pad of the semiconductor chip; and a pad to which a power supply voltage is supplied from the outside of the semiconductor chip. The control signal indicates a period for which the reading section writes the signal corresponding to the signal, which is obtained from the pixel section, in the memory. |
