PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming unit comprising an image forming unit cover which prevents deviation of storage position of developer in a developing device during transportation of the image forming unit.SOLUTION: An image forming unit cover 44 for external transportation of an image forming unit 9 is constituted by an ordinary, flame retardant resin part which constitutes its entirety and a part which overlaps with a magnetic force member 47. The magnetic force member 47 is disposed inside the image forming unit cover 44 at an area b corresponding to a developing device 14 in such a manner that it overlaps and is integrated with the image forming unit cover 44. By mutual attraction with a two-component developer 46, the magnetic force member 47 is fixed to a side surface of the developing device 14 while at the same time it applies magnetic force from the outside of a unit housing 16a and inhibits movement of the two-component developer 46 by capturing it, thereby preventing deviation of the two-component developer 46 in the developing device 14. |
