PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly efficient and compact permanent magnet rotor type motor capable of operation by AC power.SOLUTION: Two triacs connected to both ends of AC power are connected to each winding ends of each phase of a motor. By appropriately opening and closing the triacs, a current in an arbitrary direction is made to flow through the winding, so that rotary torque is generated. This enables driving a permanent magnet synchronous motor without the need of AC-DC conversion without a loss in an AC-DC converter, so that high efficiency is achieved. |
