PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly provide a peripheral situation to a driver at the time of starting of a vehicle.SOLUTION: When a start operation detection part 48 detects that a parked vehicle 5 is probable to start, a vehicle peripheral situation recognizing part 46, based on images captured by a plurality of imaging parts 20 installed toward different regions around the vehicle 5, recognizes peripheral situation of the vehicle 5. A parking mode determination part 50, based on the recognition result of the vehicle peripheral situation recognizing part 46, determines a parking mode in which the vehicle 5 has parked at a current parking position. A monitoring region setting part 52, based on the determination result of the parking mode determination part 50, sets a monitoring region K to which a driver is required to pay attention at the time of start of the vehicle 5. A vehicle peripheral situation presenting part 54 presents information about the monitoring region K to the driver. |
