<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simultaneously and easily read data in a bar code and measure/determine an object by incorporating measuring means such as a temperature sensor and the like into a bar code reader.SOLUTION: A bar code reader with a sensor comprises: bar code reading means for reading a bar code attached to goods; temperature measuring means for measuring a temperature of goods subject to temperature measurement; and information processing means for associating information about temperature obtained by the measuring means with information obtained by the bar code reading means, and storing or transferring the associated information. The bar code reader can measure a correct temperature corresponding to various kinds of products through the use of temperature correction data included in a bar code by using the bar code reading means to read the data and using the reading as a trigger to measure a temperature.</p> |
