<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel piping protection structure which can prevent a connecting part between fuel piping and connecting members connected to the fuel piping from being broken at a collision of a vehicle, and is high in a degree of freedom of a layout.SOLUTION: A fuel piping protection structure comprises: fuel piping 10 whose one end is connected to an internal combustion engine 2, and the other end is arranged at a position shifted to a cabin rather than the internal combustion engine 2; a feed hose 11 connected to the other end of the fuel piping 10; and a protection member 13 which protects a connecting unit 12 for connecting the fuel piping 10 and the feed hose 11. The protection member 13 has a base member 31 which is attached to a dashboard upper 6 for defining an engine room 1, and a cover member 32 which covers the connecting unit 12 from the internal combustion engine 2 side. The cover member 32 comprises guide parts (32g, 32h) which are displaced upwardly in order to avoid the pinching of the connecting unit 12 by the internal combustion engine 2 accompanied by elastic deformation when the internal combustion engine 2 relatively moves toward the cabin at a collision of a vehicle.</p> |
