<p>The present two-stroke piston engine comprises: a turbocharger; a cylinder block with slave cylinders having an air compression chamber, pistons and rods; a crankshaft with a drive gear; a crankshaft with a driven gear; a cylinder head with intake valves, bypass channels, bypass valves, exhaust valves, fuel injectors and combustion chambers; and camshafts. The invention is characterized in that the bypass channels are provided with bypass valves at the outlet only. At the same time, power lost in compressing air in the bypass valves is compensated during the expansion of the air as a piston moves in the air compression chamber from top dead centre until the point when the intake valve opens, which corresponds to an equalizing of the pressure in the air compression chamber and the pressure, at the intake, of the air developed by the turbocharger. The claimed invention makes it possible to simplify the structure of a two-stroke engine.</p> |
