PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle power supply system capable of suppressing an increase in component cost due to presence of two power supply circuits different in voltage.SOLUTION: A vehicle power supply system includes: a high-voltage storage battery 9 charged with electric power generated by a generator 11; a voltage converter 1 stepping down a voltage of the electric power generated by the generator 11; a low-voltage storage battery 13 charged with the voltage-stepped-down electric power; power switches 5a and 5b for a plurality of high-voltage loads 4a and 4b; current detectors (5a and 5b) detecting values of currents flowing in the power switches 5a and 5b, respectively; and a plurality of high-voltage electric wire protection means (3) protecting electric wires connected to the high-voltage loads 4a and 4b on the basis of the detected current values. The vehicle power supply system includes a control unit 3 that includes: high-voltage load feed means (3) turning on or off each of the power switches 5a and 5b; and the plurality of high-voltage electric wire protection means (3), the control unit 3, the power switches 5a and 5b, and the current detectors (5a and 5b) being contained in one housing. |
