PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plastic container excellent in buckling resistance to vertical compressive load.SOLUTION: A plastic container 1a comprises: a mouth part 10; a shoulder part 20; a trunk 30; and a bottom 40 from an upper part to a lower part in the order. The trunk 30 has a rib 50 projecting inward of the container from its outer wall face 31, and the rib 50 has a deepest groove part 51, at least one shallow groove part 52 having groove depth shallower than that of the deepest groove part 51, and a coupling part 53 coupling the deepest groove part 51 and the shallow groove part 52. The deepest groove part 51 has a deepest groove bottom 51a, and an inside face of the container on the deepest groove bottom 51a is along a side face of a columnar thinnest virtual pole L1, and at least one of the shallow groove part 52 has a parallel shallow groove bottom 52a having constant distance between it and the side face of the thinnest virtual pole L1. |
