<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for producing hydrogen selenide and a method for producing hydrogen selenide, which enable reduction of deposition of selenium on inner walls of a reaction chamber and piping by a simple operation while suppressing cost increase.SOLUTION: Provided is an apparatus 1 for producing hydrogen selenide comprising: a selenium holding part 11 which holds selenium; a reaction chamber 10 in which selenium 91 and hydrogen 92 react to generate hydrogen selenide; a hydrogen supply pipe 21 which is connected to the reaction chamber 10 and supplies hydrogen to the selenium holding part 11; and a first cooling part 50 where gaseous selenium, mixed in hydrogen selenide present in regions other than the selenium holding part 11 in the reaction chamber 10, is liquefied by cooling at a temperature which is above a redecomposition temperature range of hydrogen selenide to a temperature equal to or less than a liquefying temperature of selenium and less than the redecomposition temperature range of hydrogen selenide, and where the liquefied selenium is transferred to the selenium holding part 11.</p> |
