Disclosed are an apparatus and a method for estimating the voltage of a hybrid secondary battery including a first secondary battery and a second secondary battery which have different electrochemical characteristics and which are connected in parallel with each other. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a sensor unit for measuring the operation current of the hybrid secondary battery; and a control unit for estimating the voltage of the hybrid secondary battery using the operation current and a voltage equation derived from a circuit model comprising a first circuit unit for simulating a change in the voltage of the first secondary battery by means of a first open circuit voltage element and optionally a first impedance element, and a second circuit unit for simulating a change in the voltage of the second secondary battery by means of a second open circuit voltage element and optionally a second impedance element, the second circuit unit being connected in parallel with the first circuit unit. |
