<p>The present invention discloses a channel state information measurement and feedback method, user equipment, and base station. The method comprises: receiving a first reference signal sent by a base station and according to the first reference signal, determining from a first codebook a first precoding matrix; determining from a predefined second codebook a second precoding matrix or obtaining a predefined matrix to serve as a second precoding matrix; determining a channel quality indicator (CQI) according to the first precoding matrix and the second precoding matrix; sending channel state information to the base station, the channel state information comprising a first indicator of the first precoding matrix and a third indicator of the CQI, and not comprising a second indicator of the second precoding matrix. When feeding channel state information back to the base station, the user equipment of the embodiments of the present invention can feed back only the first indicator of the first precoding matrix and the third indicator of the CQI, while not feeding back the second indicator of the second precoding matrix, thereby reducing the feedback overhead.</p> |
