Disclosed is a device to preheat a steel plate to minimize heat loss, and reduce a consumption of gas to improve thermal efficiency by utilizing waste heat of a flame generated from a gas torch. The device to preheat a steel plate comprises: a roller to transmit heat which is rotationally installed to be in contact with at least one side of a steel plate transferred to one direction; a gas torch spraying a flame to the roller to transmit heat; and a gas supply unit supplying gas to the gas torch. The device to preheat a steel plate minimizes heat loss, and reduces the consumption of gas to improve thermal efficiency by utilizing waste heat of a flame generated from a gas torch. |
