The present invention relates to a negative tab fixing structure for a secondary battery which includes a terminal plate which is electrically connected to a negative terminal installed on the upper side of a can and a negative tab of an electrode assembly which is fixed to the lower side of the terminal plate. A protrusion part with a fixing groove to which the negative tab is inserted and fixed is formed on the lower side of the terminal plate. That is, the protrusion part fixes the negative tab to the terminal plate by being pressed in the direction of the terminal plate after the negative tab is inserted into the fixing groove.
