The present invention relates to an assembly type expandable composite beam comprising: a pair of web plates which has an upper flange bent at the top in a horizontal direction and is separately arranged from each other in order to form the side plate of a composite beam; a plurality of lower plates which has an end flange bent at both ends to come in contact with the bottom of a web plate or another end flange in order to form the base plate of the composite beam; and a fastening bolt and a fastening nut to fasten the end flange to the bottom of the web plate or to fasten the end flanges together in a horizontal direction through a plurality of through-holes separately formed at the bottom of the web plates and the end flanges. According to the present invention, the lower plate of a wide composite beam made of a thin plate (lighter than 4.5-12 t) can be manufactured to meet the limits on width-to-thickness ratio; and the wideness of the lower flange can be secured even with the use of a thin plate. |
