PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing device, capable of efficiently processing compressed moving image data, according to a display frame rate of an external display device.SOLUTION: An image processing device includes: acquisition means for acquiring hierarchically coded moving image data; decoding means for decoding the moving image data acquired by the acquisition means; output means for outputting the decoded moving image data decoded by the decoding means to an external display device; information acquisition means for acquiring information related to the display frame rate of the external display device; and control means for controlling the decoding means not to decode the data in an upper hierarchy than a hierarchy corresponding to the frame rate of the external display device included in the moving image data. |
