摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a phosphor that has high light emission intensity even when combined with LEDs of 470 nm or less and that is chemically and thermally stable.SOLUTION: The phosphor of this invention comprises: crystals that contain an element A, an element D, an element X, and optionally an element E, and that are represented by A(D,E)X, wherein A is at least one element selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, and Ba; D is at least one element selected from Si, Ge, Sn, Ti, Zr, and Hf; X is at least one element selected from O, N, and F; and E is at least one element selected from B, Al, Ga, In, Sc, Y, La; inorganic crystals having a crystal structure identical to that of crystals represented by A(D,E)X; or an inorganic compound in which an element M is dissolved in these crystals of solid solutions, wherein M is at least one element selected from Mn, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Tb, Dy, and Yb.
