<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular steering apparatus having a joining structure capable of easily and reliably joining the housing and cover of a drive mechanism for adjusting an operation position of a steering wheel.SOLUTION: A steering apparatus includes: a positioning mechanism for arranging a cover 50 at an opening portion of a housing 40 by moving the cover 50 relatively to the housing 40 in a given direction; a fitting mechanism for fitting the cover 50 to the opening portion of the housing 40 by moving the cover 50 relatively to the housing 40 in the given direction; and an engagement mechanism for engaging the cover 50 with the housing 40 by moving the cover 50 relatively to the housing 40 in the given direction. Associated with the movement of the cover 50 relatively to the housing 40 in the given direction, the cover 50 is joined to the opening portion of the housing 40 in the order of the positioning mechanism, fitting mechanism and engagement mechanism.</p> |
