A device to automatically bend a side wing of a battery cell includes: an electrode assembly; and a pouch which surrounds the electrode assembly and has the side wing having a first terrace unit and a second terrace unit formed in both upper ends. The present invention includes: a mounting unit on which a battery cell is mounted; a first bending unit and a second bending unit which are arranged to be able to respectively slide in both upper sides of the mounting unit in a horizontal direction and respectively bend the first terrace unit and the second terrace unit in an inward direction; an operation unit which starts an operation of the first bending unit and an operation of the second bending unit; and a control unit which controls the first bending unit and the second bending unit to be driven by receiving an operation start signal of the operation unit. Thereby the present invention is able to not only shorten manufacturing time in comparison with existing manufacturing time necessary for an operator to manually bend a first terrace unit and a second terrace unit but also improve quality by the even bent degree of the first and second terrace units since the first and second terrace units of a side wing are automatically bent. |
