POWER SAVING METHOD IN WIRELESS COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for increasing resource utilization of a high-rate wireless communication system and reducing power consumption, and a controlling apparatus therefor.SOLUTION: In a wireless communication system including two or more transmission modes which are different from each other, the method includes effectively utilizing a frequency band by transmitting channel state information and data frame mode information while including them in a requirement frame or a response frame. The power saving method in the wireless communication system including two or more transmission modes which are different from each other includes: receiving a control frame by setting a mode of a lowest sampling speed among three modes to receive the control frame when receiving the control frame; and transmitting/receiving a data packet by setting a mode of a highest transmission rate to transmit/receive the data packet in order to transmit/receive the data packet after the control frame is received.
