LIPID DOUBLE MEMBRANE FORMING INSTRUMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lipid double membrane forming instrument capable of being easily produced and in which a diaphragm can be exchanged.SOLUTION: The lipid double membrane includes a substrate, a pair of wells formed in the substrate which are contacted with each other, and a diaphragm cassette disposed between the pair of wells. The diaphragm cassette includes a diaphragm having one or plural open hole(s) having an aperture of 500 nm-500 μm and a pair of supporting films holding the diaphragm. The diaphragm and the pair of supporting films are integrated and in each supporting film, through-holes including the open holes of the diaphragm are formed. Each through-hole of each supporting film and each open hole of the diaphragm penetrate through the supporting films and the diaphragm as a whole. In a part of the substrate in which a pair of wells are contacted with each other, a groove is formed and the diaphragm cassette is inserted into the groove attachably and detachably. In a state in which the diaphragm cassette is inserted into the groove, a pair of wells are contacted with each other through the diaphragm and one or plural open hole(s) of the diaphragm open(s) in both directions to the pair of wells.
