<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting apparatus in which inspection operation for the lighting apparatus can be easily started without taking out an operating tool from inside the apparatus and using a special tool procured from the outside.SOLUTION: The lighting apparatus, which is an apparatus that makes a light source to emit light by external power, comprises: a storage battery that when supply of the external power is stopped, can supply power to the light source; transmission means that irradiates electromagnetic waves or sound waves for deciding whether an inspection relating to power supply by the storage battery is started; reception means that can detect the waves radiated from the transmission means and reflected; inspection instruction determining means that determines whether or not the waves detected by the reception means include reflected waves which are irradiated from the transmission means and then reflected by an inspector; control means that when the inspection instruction determining means determines that the reflected waves are included, starts inspection operation relating to the power supply by the storage battery. This structure allows the inspection operation to be started by easy operation: holding a hand or a reflection tool up over the waves radiated from the transmission means, for example.</p> |
