The invention relates to an electron beam melting method for producing a three-dimensional component (17) layer by layer, comprising the steps of: a) applying a first powder layer (18) to a carrier plate (3), wherein the powder layer (18) comprises nickel-base-alloy powder particles and flux powder particles, b) at least partially pre-sintering the first powder layer (18), c) selectively remelting the applied first powder layer (18) by using an electron beam (6), d) at least partially removing flux remaining on remelted regions of the powder layer, e) applying a further powder layer (19) to the previously applied, partially remelted powder layer (18), wherein the further powder layer (19) comprises nickel-base-alloy powder particles and flux powder particles, f) at least partially pre-sintering the further powder layer (19), g) selectively remelting the further applied powder layer (19) by using an electron beam (6), and h) at least partially removing flux remaining on remelted powder layer regions, wherein steps e) to h) are repeated until the component (17) has been completed. The invention also relates to the use of a mixture of nickel-base-alloy powder particles and flux powder particles when carrying out an electron-beam melting method and also to an electron-beam arrangement (1) designed for carrying out the method. |
