Provided are a timing synchronization method and system for power line carrier communication. The system comprises an analog-to-digital converter, an I/Q demodulator, a narrow-band interference detector, an adaptive filter, a normalization module, an autocorrelation calculation module, a comparator and a postprocessor; the analog-to-digital converter, the I/Q demodulator and the narrow-band interference detector convert an OFDM carrier signal into an OFDM carrier frequency domain signal. The method comprises the steps of: 1, acquiring the average power P of each OFDM sub-carrier f; 2, conducting narrow-band interference detection on the OFDM sub-carrier f; 3, filtering the OFDM signal and conducting normalization processing on the filtered OFDM signal; 4, acquiring the start time of the OFDM carrier signal, and outputting an OFDM carrier synchronization signal. Compared with the prior art, the timing synchronization method and system for power line carrier communication of the present invention have high robustness under different channel conditions such as narrow-band interference, impulse noise, multipath transmission, dramatic change of input signal amplitude, or nonlinearity. |
