PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a data output/input method using a dot code capable of reading by utilizing image discrimination.SOLUTION: Formation of at least one dot code 10 corresponding to an indicator data on an object surface is included. The dot code includes a plurality of blocks 110, 210A-G. Each block includes a bit point respectively. Each block is divided in a plurality of bit areas. A part of the bit areas arrayed in cruciform constitutes a label areas 114, 214. Each dot code constituting the data information of each bit dot is installed in a bit area other than the label area of a block. Each dot code constituting the label information of each bit dot is installed in a bit area within the label area of the block. A data output/input method includes optically reading the object surface, to obtain an indicator data corresponding to the dot code. |
