PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a target detection device which is capable of suppressing the reduction of target reliability in a state where a target is likely to exist, even in the case that the target is detected on the outside of overlapping detection areas of a plurality of sensors.SOLUTION: If a target detected by fusion can be detected by only a millimeter wave radar 10 (S109:No), a target detection device 1 sets target reliability on the basis of the time for which the target was continuously detected by fusion, namely, a stable recognition count value cnt. When the target is detected by fusion continuously for a longer time, the stable recognition count value cnt is increased. When the target can be detected by only the millimeter wave radar 10, high reliability at the time of fusion detection is maintained as the target reliability (S137) if the stable recognition count value cnt is a large value equal to or larger than a first prescribed count value cnt_th1 (S123:Yes). |
